Tony, Bob, Bill, Jim, and Barry. The Olsons had a commitment to go to Kirkwood and Lloyd was recovering from heart issues and Martin couldn’t make it.
Monday Feb 25th thru Thursday Feb 30th. We had planned an additional night but big storm coming in Thursday night chased us away a day early.
We had 1 car. Jim drove Tony and Bill to Bob’s house in Ventura where he had rented an SUV for us to take to Mammoth. We met Barry at Mammoth and gave him a ride back to Bishop at end of trip. Stopped on the way up in Bishop at the Vons to get food and drink.
Lodging: Stayed at the Mammoth Mountain Chalets (#11) located near the Main Lodge. 3 bedroom, 2 bath A-frame cabin with beds for all. Location enabled us ski in/out capability, a feature we are in love with. Chalet felt small compared to #12.
Tony didn’t ski as he was recovering from some unknown inflammation issue.
Tuesday: Bluebird ski day. Out around 10:15 and skied various runs all over the mountain. Stopped for lunch but went back out till around 4:00. Great groomed run skiing. Bill had to stop after the second run because he caught an edge and twisted his knee. He decided not to ski on Wednesday.

Thursday: Left early due to massive storm coming in so didn’t ski
